Crane Watch: 8 Tower Cranes To Rise At Dell Medical School Site

September 21, 2014 by Editor

If you think Austin has a lot of tower cranes in the air now, wait until construction at the Dell Medical School campus gets going.

A document filed with the city shows the layout of the eight tower cranes that will soon rise above the Med School campus:

Coordinating all of the cranes around this area is important because there will be several large – but separate – project sites under construction simultaneously. The projects include the Education/Administration Building, the Seton Teaching Hospital, the Research Building, and Medical Office Building (MOB) & Parking Garage. The general contractors tasked with building these projects are JE Dunn, Hensel Phelps, and Beck.
