Are you wondering what the first new buildings at the University of Texas’ new medical district will look like? Your wait is now over. Architectural firm Page posted the renderings on their blog over the weekend, after the Regents approved the designs of the first phase of construction.
The first phase will consist of the 8-story research building, a 10-story medical office building (MOB), and a parking garage for 1,120 cars.
As we told you in an update this week, prep work is underway and construction on the first phase will begin in March 2014. These buildings are expected to be completed in June 2016.
